The Transformers RPG Setting

Over five centuries have passed since the end of the Great Galactic War that ravaged Cybertron and had an impact on dozens of worlds including Earth.
The Decepticons in the end lost and were pushed away, out of Cybertronian Space. With Megatron seemingly defeated and no new leader rising from the ranks, the Decepticon Empire fragmented in warbands that plundered and raided on the edges of Cybertronian space.
Cybertron in the meantime was rebuild and led by a Council, the Cybertronians regained the wealth and glory of old. Protected by the Autobots led by Optimus Prime, peace and prosperity seemed assured.
Earth itself recovered too and developped new technologies.
More recently however there have been incidents near the Cybertronian borders. Two colonies have been destroyed and Decepticon piracy has grown bolder and bolder.
Still, the Autobots are not overly alarmed, expecting a small expedition to be enough to end the agression and put the weakened and divided Decepticons in their place, as was done several times before.
What the Autobots fail to realize though is that only a handful of Decepticon Warlords remain and that the Decepticons are slowly organizing themselves once more, moving towards truces and alliances so that they have the military muscle to do a bold and daring raid that may set them up for retaking what they see as rightfully theirs... Cybertron.

Meanwhile in the depths of Space, Unicorn's head still floats. The evil God had been destroyed millenia ago but now some life has returned to the empty husk. As someone has found a second chance for life and power, against all odds... .
